About us

First of all, let me introduce myself! I am Meggie, a 31-year-old dog, cat, rat and chicken mom living in the Laurentians, in Québec. They say I have a little zoo (@meggieslittlezoo on Instagram) and I have been a pet mom for 9 years now. Aside from my day job and Le Pet Shoppe, I am also Vice President of Un chat à la fois / One cat at a time, a nonprofit organization specialized in orphaned kittens, etc. (Website + Facebook page).

I have always loved arts and crafts, but sewing is a hobby that quickly became a passion as I learnt from my grandma, one of the best seamstresses I know! Buying bandanas for my pets to take pictures is one of my favourite things to do, so why not start creating my own pet accessories, to make my photos even more personalized, but while also making them available for people who have the same hobby as me?

I decided to combine my 4 passions: animals, rescue, sewing and amateur photography!

My goal is to create cute things, in my own style, for pets of all shapes and sizes and also for their pawrents, while keeping everything affordable and durable. Everything is made from fabrics chosen by me personally and several trials and errors have been done to create products that fit my preferences and are up to my standards.

I want to keep innovating to create new things for you and your companions, to give you a bunch of different options to fit your style, while always keeping your budget in mind!
